Are you one of us who has noticed that political promises almost never translate into fulfillment? Even as we speak, Republicans are backpaddling on their political promises to cut Federal spending. We're even now preparing to "give them a pass" because of the "political realities" -- which seem so overwhelming that no immediate solution seems attainable.
Why are we paying farmers not to grow crops on over 35,000,000 acres of land at the same time there are world food riots? And while world food prices have increased over 25% during just the last year?
How is it that in 1965, 70% of the capital assets of the U.S. were held by 10% of the population and now over 90% of the capital assets of the U.S. are held by about 3% of the population?
Why are we Americans paying a subsidy to convert food into fuel, thus creating less food and higher prices?
Why are we borrowing money to pay foreign aid to countries like Eqypt, whose ruler (Mubarak) is worth at least $40 billion?
What is monetization and why is the U.S. doing it?
Who benfits when the Fed raises interest rates? Shouldn't interest rates be determined by supply and demand and not by government dictating how much savers should get and borrowers should pay?
Why does the Fed and Wall Street believe that raising
interest rates will cause food prices to decline? Can
the Fed produce more food?
Are you supportive of the current Fed and Wall Street
narrative that raising interest rates and causing a
recession is a valid reason to reduce inflation?
Is the Fed really printing money? Why?
Are you currently having a hard time making your investments growing and are your investments keeping up with real inflation?
Why are gold, silver and other commodities going up so dramatically?
Why are CEO's of large Wall Street financial firms paid such outlandish salaries and bonuses, even in a recession when there exists high unemployment?
What do Wall Street financial firms produce for our society and are they worth it?
It is the humble opinion of this website that we are witnessing the rapidly accelerating decline of the greatest civilization our planet has ever known. Millions of Americans sense that something is wrong but can't figure out what it is. Millions of others have identified some of the problems but have no solutions - or their solutions are more of the same that caused the problems in the first place. This website is unique and different from nearly all other websites dealing with similar issues, in that its agenda consists of the three most important issues facing not only Americans, but the world in general:
1. Solutions
2. More Solutions
3. Even More Solutions
In other words, all dialogue is mere rhetoric unless it is directed towards a solution. Nearly all of the current discussions conducted by the political pundits, politicians, news organizations, economists, financial analysts, and other so-called "experts", is to apply "more of the same" actions that have been applied over the past 80 years, Our objective here is to develop solutions to society's problems as follows:
1. Identify, analyze and address the social and economic issues to be dealt with so we can structure the changes in our society that are necessary to avoid or minimize the cataclysmic consequences of the course we are presently on.
2. Prepare ourselves, our friends and our families economically, psychologically, socially and intellectually to execute the plan which will follow.
3. Incorporate specific solutions into a plan of action and then act on it.
